              <p>
                The letter contains a double example of love letter. G. informs his wife
                <persName>Imilda</persName>
                on his state of health. He is doing well in
                <placeName>Pisa</placeName>
                where he established a flourishing business. He asks her wife to take care of his house, children and harvest during his absence. The one he desires to be closer to him is his beloved. For love the male lover will climb mountains, cross seas and run the risk of death. His life depends chiefly upon the womanʼs benevolence towards him.
